SocialSpeed is an application that submits websites to social bookmarks. It is a really simple program that grabs the URL that you input and submits it to a variety of social bookmarks sites. For each URL that you submit, you need to add a site title, a description and some keywords, so that the social bookmarks service can operate efficiently. SocialSpeed can submit several URLs at once and it submits them to all the supported services. You can't really choose which ones to work with, and that is definitely something that should be up to the user. Bibsonomy BlinkList, BuddyMarks, CiteULike, Delicious, Delirious, Faves, Furl, Lilisto and Linkagogo are some of the supported bookmarks sites. There is a bunch of services supported, but the most popular ones aren't there.
When you start the submitting process, you will get real-time feedback on the screen. SocialSpeed will tell you how many sites your URLs have been submitted to and if there have been any errors. The speed at which URLs are submitted seems to be fast, and it is considerably faster than when you do this manually. |
